Letter from Orren
What is it that you covet? Is it money, freedom, love? How far would you go for what you desire? Would you carve the flesh off your own bones for money? What about an eye? How deeply must you love to gouge out one of your own eyes? What about taking a life? Would you slaughter people, your own family, for freedom? What is it that you covet?
What about power? Not some nebulous ideology of the term, not power to sway some votes in a political party, not even the ability to command individuals to obey you, but real power. The power to shear off mountain tops. To boil the seas. To open the skies and unleash wrath at those that cower behind its walls. Power to not only defeat your enemies but grind them under your brothel, and then their family.
So what do you covet? Now, what are you willing to sacrifice to get it? There is a Dragonborn that walks the face of Magia that knows exactly what he is willing to sacrifice for power… and that is everything and everyone. He would consume the sphere in the pursuit of pure, unadulterated, untethered, and raw power. But it will never be enough.

moreWelcome
Magiea was ours. It wasn’t perfect, but it was ours. We had our ups and downs. Sure there was war and crime and all that, but it was ours. Green fertile lands, and sprawling deserts. Wondrous kingdoms built under beautiful blue skies. From the crystal halls of the wind forge and the Sirtan to great orc tribes in the west. Magiea wasn’t perfect, but it was ours. Even where there wasn’t peace there was an understanding.
It all changed the night Valion fell. In a single night of fire and blood the mighty Dragon Born were cut from tens of thousands to a mere handful, and it happened in their own city. Dark brought metal men, riding steel horses, and piloting house sized metal monsters. Blasting light and glowing orbs that tore through Valion’s arcane defenses and massive stone walls like dry leaves. By dawn the amount of Dragon born, arguably the most powerful race on Magiea, had fallen en masse.
With the arcane fading and the Dragons that have been missing for decades, it was all too easy for a new power to rise. This was the foot hold for the Riet Corporation to take hold. Their first assaults were on the greenskins. The orcs suffered the greatest. Hundreds of thousands of the orcs were slaughtered. The Green Skin war raged between the armoured Riet corporation soldiers who cut the orcs down on every battlefield. With beams of light from their strange metal weapons and never ending metal creations, the orcs didn’t stand a chance.
